Meet the team behind Tuzz's Table

We’re the husband and wife duo behind Tuzz’s Table. Our small, but mighty business creates custom woodworking and resin pieces, including charcuterie boards, home décor, and meaningful keepsakes like floral and sand preservations.

What started as a simple creative hobby quickly grew into something we loved sharing with others, and Tuzz’s Table is where our passion gets to create one-of-a-kind pieces and connect with people through the stories behind them.

It all began during the slower days of the COVID pandemic, when we suddenly found ourselves with more time on our hands than usual despite our careers being essential (Izzy, an electrician and former firefighter and me, a special education teacher).

One day Izzy came home and said, “Hey, look at this board I made!”

Being the science teacher that I am, I immediately thought, “This is cool… let me add resin to it!”

And just like that, our creative experiment began.

That year, we made all of our Christmas gifts, and let’s just say we have a very large family. Everyone LOVED them and insisted we should start selling. The following year, as people kept asking for more, we finally took the plunge an entered a local vendor event. Everything was a hit!

In 2022, after two years of creating, Tuzz’s Table was officially born. We began expanding what we offered, adding things like floral preservation and sand preservations so we could help people capture and hold onto some of life’s most meaningful moments.

Shortly after, someone asked if we could engrave the coordinates of their home onto a board. And that’s when our talented, wood-burning friend, Paige, entered the picture.

Paige and I have been best friends for over 30 years (which is wild considering we’re only 25). She quickly stepped in and elevated our business to a whole new level, offering custom hand-burned and engraved designs that add deeply personal touches to every piece.

Today, what we love most about Tuzz’s Table is getting to create pieces that are truly one of a kind. Every board, keepsake, and preservation project tells a story — whether it’s flowers from a wedding day, sand from a special beach, or a meaningful location engraved into wood.
